The tape measure tool is found in the construction toolbar or by choosing tools>tape measure or by pressing (T)

Guide lines are dashed lines that extend through the entire scene. to create one just click and drag from a point on an edge or from the midpoint that runs parallel to the guide line you want to create.

The protractor tool can also create guide lines. the protractor tool is found o the construction toolbar or by choosing tools>protractor. to measure an angle, place the center of the protractor at the point where the two lines intersect and click, click again to select the second line.

The dimension tool, however is intended to create dimensions for the scene objects. the dimension tool is found in the construction toolbar or by choosing tools>dimensions.

The axes tool allows you to reset the coordinate system for the current scene. the axes tool is found in the construction toolbar or by choosing tools>axes.
