1. The style builder interface is similar to the other sketch up applications that use various menus, panels, and windows.
2. The strokes panel shows a collection of sample strokes loaded from a template. these template files are image files that hold the various strokes.
3. Clicking the settings tab opens several settings that help to define the new style. using these fields, you can give the style a name.
4. When a new set of stroke samples is loaded into the stroke sample panel, the new strokes are automatically applied to the current style, but you can selectively choose which strokes are used by clicking and dragging strokes from the left panel to the top panel.
5. The style preview pane provides a quick look at the current style. the default house model can be switched out for a different model by choosing Preview>Change Model.
6. To set the preferences all you need to do is choose edit>Preferences to display this dialog box.
